Praise for Term Limits
Brilliant and timely political who-done-it:
Having been a press officer for a US Senator for a number of years, I’ve had a front-row seat to the inner workings of Capitol Hill. To my mind, Powell has masterfully combined the timeliness of today’s political intrigue with a gripping detective story/who-done-it. By bringing the mind-boggling, swirling mess that is Washington politics down to the level of one family’s pain held me glued to the page.
Alan Steele-Nicholson, press officer for (former) US Senator Jacob Javits, New York
Absolutely Riveting!
This is the best book I've read all year, and during the pandemic I average 2-3 books each week. The author did an admirable job of drilling down into exacting what's wrong with our government, and Washington. I can't wait to recommend this book to my friends.

The body count is high, but so is the entertainment factor
I’ve been reading a lot of acceptably interesting books lately, but this one reminded me what it’s like to get sucked in. I forgot how much I missed that feeling! The body count is high, but so is the entertainment factor, and the political elements are well-intergraded into the plot. Recommended for the politically minded and anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Smart Read with a Tight Narrative and Clean Writing
Steve Powell's Term Limits is a murder mystery that could easily be a current news event, especially after recent events with pipebombs and shootings in Louisville & Pittsburg. There are a lot of moving parts and faced-paced action along with believable people & events. You will read this book in a day or two satisfied from a good read but thoughtful long after you finish.

A gripping premise
A gripping premise that anchors a fast paced and suspenseful story. I felt so many of the characters come to life on the pages and literally did not want to put the book down until finished. 'Term Limits' is is as relevant as it is entertaining and I highly recommend it for anyone's year round book list.

Term limits is a thrilling pageturner
Term limits is a thrilling pageturner; the pages fly by so fast that you don't know what's hit you, as if you yourself have been struck by the mysterious murderer. While at first it seems like a typical murder mystery, it soon becomes apparent that there is something much deeper going on. It's like a reverse whodunit; you know who the killer is but not why they're doing it. The book does a great job of highlighting why fundamental changes are required in American politics, yet it never comes across as preachy and keeps the reader in thrilling suspense for the entire ride.

Finally, some sanity!
This compelling murder mystery is a powerful and persuasive plea for sanity in the nation’s politics. It is also a great read; the murderer wouldn’t let me stray farther away than the kitchen to make a cup of tea or to pour a glass of wine.

A real page turner
A real page turner, this psychological thriller holds many truths – both spoken and unspoken – about America's current political problems. Term Limits is dark, violent, but also very passionate about how political corruption damages the live of ordinary Americans. This novel could be required reading for all readers no matter what their political views.
